Chakan (Pronunciation: [t͡saːkəɳ]) is a city and municipal council in Pune district of the Indian state of Maharashtra. The Chakan is also part of Pune Metropolitan Region Development Authority. Chakan is one of the largest automobile and manufacturing hub of India. [1]

Rajgurunagar, formerly known as Khed is a census town in the Pune Metropolitan Region of the Indian state of Maharashtra. It is situated on the bank of the Bhima River and on the Pune-Nasik National Highway (National Highway 60). [2] It is the headquarters of Khed taluka in the Pune district. Rajgurunagar is about 10 km from Chakan.
