The Water Garden is also situated in Salmaniya. It was first opened in 1948 and is spread over 6.5 hectares of land. It was closed for renovations for six years in the late 2010s and was reopened in January 2023. [1] In April 2024, parts of Salmaniya flooded in the aftermath of heavy rain in the Gulf region.

The Southern Governorate (Arabic: المحافظة الجنوبية, romanized: Al-Muḥāfaẓat al-Janūbīyah) has the largest area of the four governorates of Bahrain. It includes parts of Bahrain's old municipalities – Al Mintaqah al Gharbiyah, Ar Rifa' wa al Mintaqah al Janubiyah, and Juzur Hawar (the Hawar Islands).
The Kingdom of Bahrain is divided into four governorates: the Capital, Northern, Southern and Muharraq.The Central Governorate was abolished in September 2014. [1]Each governorate is governed by a governor, appointed by the prime minister, and has its own municipality council, with separate elections for them.

The college's campus is in the neighborhood of Salmaniya, in Manama, the capital of Bahrain. It is located within the Salmaniya Medical Complex (SMC), together with the Arabian Gulf University and Salmaniya Hospital. [3] The campus includes an administration and student affairs building, and multiple nursing and laboratory blocks.
