Wrexham bus station (Welsh: Gorsaf fysiau Wrecsam) is an eight-stand indoor bus station in Wrexham city centre on King Street. Services provide transit within the city, elsewhere in north Wales , and to Cheshire and Shropshire in England.

GHA Coaches was a bus and coach operator serving North East Wales, Cheshire, and Shropshire. It also operated bus services extending into Telford & Wrekin, Staffordshire, Gwynedd, and Merseyside. The operator ceased trading after entering administration on 13 July 2016. [1]
In 1991 it was sold again to British Bus. [3] [4] In August 1996 British Bus was purchased by the Cowie Group. It traded as Arriva Cymru until February 2002, when it merged with Arriva North West to form Arriva North West & Wales. [2] [5] In August 2008 Arriva purchased routes 9 and 9A with seven buses from KMP. [6] [7]
Ftrmetro Swansea was a bus rapid transit route in Swansea, where it ultilised dedicated busways, bus lanes and articulated buses. It launched in September 2009, but First Cymru removed the service in 2015, due to rising costs. [68] The service was replaced with standard bus services, and a change of route to enable redevelopment. [69]
Newport Bus took over the route on 4 January 2021 and route was renumbered from X7 to T7. Newport Bus operated the route using two MCV Evoras previously operated by Stagecoach South Wales on their T4/T14 TrawsCymru routes; [ 33 ] these were replaced by two new Yutong E12s in early 2023.
Two routes serve as the main north–south links. The A483 begins near Swansea and takes a north-easterly route to Ammanford, Llandeilo, Llandovery, Llanwrtyd Wells, Builth Wells, Llandrindod Wells, Newtown, Welshpool, Oswestry and Wrexham, finally ending at Chester.
The re-doubling was completed in April 2017, with the project described to be an effort to increase services between Wrexham and Chester [8] and improving certain sections of line to allow trains to run at 90 mph. [9] [10] The remaining 4 miles (6.4 km) of track between Rossett Junction and just north of Wrexham General remains single-track.
