Halloween is a soundtrack album composed and performed by John Carpenter, featuring the score to the 1978 film Halloween.It was released in Japan in 1979 by Columbia Records and in the United States in 1983 through Varèse Sarabande.
It stars Jamie Lee Curtis and Nick Castle who reprise their roles as Laurie Strode and Michael Myers, with stuntman James Jude Courtney, who also portrays Myers. John Carpenter, who previously wrote music for the first three installments of the Halloween franchise, returned for the sequel. His involvement was confirmed in late 2017.

The original music score for Halloween: The Curse of Michael Myers is composed and orchestrated by long-time Halloween contributor Alan Howarth, his work in the series dating back to his collaboration with John Carpenter on Halloween II.
