This is a list of all Internet Relay Chat commands from RFC 1459, RFC 2812, and extensions added to major IRC daemons. Most IRC clients require commands to be preceded by a slash (" / "). Some commands are actually sent to IRC bots ; these are treated by the IRC protocol as ordinary messages, not as / -commands.
This is exploitable by sending messages from multiple names, causing the target client to open many new windows and potentially swamping the user with boxes. Sometimes the easiest way to close all the windows is to restart the IRC client, although scripts (client extensions) exist to 'validate' unknown nicknames before receiving messages from them.
Open Relay Behavior-modification System (ORBS), created and run by Alan Brown in New Zealand, was one of the first DNS-based Blackhole Lists (DNSBL), a means by which an internet domain may publish a list of IP addresses, in a database which can be easily queried automatically by other computer programs on the Internet.

Unsubscribing When you mark a message from a mailing list as spam and we trust the sender, you will have the option to unsubscribe rather than marking it as spam: Select Unsubscribe and you will no longer receive any messages from the mailing list. Select Report as spam. This will mark the message as spam and move it into the spam folder.
With this additional contextual recognition, it is one of the more accurate spam filters available. Initial testing in 2002 by author Bill Yerazunis [ 1 ] gave a 99.87% accuracy; [ 2 ] Holden [ 3 ] and TREC 2005 and 2006 [ 4 ] [ 5 ] gave results of better than 99%, with significant variation depending on the particular corpus.
