Saura painting is a style of wall mural paintings associated with the Saura tribals of the state of Odisha in India. These paintings, also called ikons (or ekons ) are visually similar to Warli paintings and hold religious significance for the Sauras.

In 1895, Weeks wrote and illustrated a book of travels, From the Black Sea through Persia and India, [2] [3] and in 1897 he published Episodes of Mountaineering [4] (which was preceded by the 1894 article Some Episodes of Mountaineering, by a Casual Amateur).
