The old church was sold for $100 to the city of Pensacola on September 11, 1956. [1] They deeded the structure to the Greater Pensacola Symphony Orchestra. The building is now listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The present church was dedicated by Archbishop Thomas Toolen of Mobile on May 18, 1967.
