AEK Larnaca FC (Greek: AEK; for short Αθλητική Έvωση Κίτιον Λάρνακας, romanized: Athletiki Enosi Kition Larnakas, "Athletic Union Kition of Larnaca") is a Cypriot professional football club based in Larnaca. The club was formed in 1994 after a merger of two historical Larnaca clubs, EPA Larnaca and Pezoporikos.
The Cypriot football club AEK Larnaca FC has taken part in various European competitions over the years, notably taking part in the UEFA Cup Winners' Cup in 1996–97, and reaching the group stage in the UEFA Europa League in 2011–12.
AEK Arena was built on land owned by the GSZ Stadium. AEK Larnaca and GSZ have agreed to build a stadium on this land. [5] The stadium is owned by AEK Larnaca, and was built by its own cost. [5] The responsibility of the construction was assigned to Balltown Holdings (Public) Ltd, which was founded for this purpose by AEK. [5]

The 2024–25 season will be the 31st season in the history of AEK Larnaca FC, and the 15th consecutive season in Cypriot First Division. In addition to the domestic league, the team is scheduled to participate in the Cypriot Cup and the UEFA Conference League .
