San Angelo ISD has 25 schools serving students Pre-K through 12th grade including one 5A (4A beginning in fall 2018 [3] [4]) and one 6A high school, three middle schools, 17 elementary schools, and two alternative campuses. SAISD also serves children birth through age five at three Head Start/Early Head Start centers.
Central High School is a public high school in San Angelo, Texas. It is part of the San Angelo Independent School District. The school serves grades 10–12, with a secondary campus for 9th grade. The secondary campus was incorporated as one school two campuses 2020-2021 school year.
The school is also home to a fine arts program. The AFJROTC is a program both locally and nationally. The John Jay Robotics Team is the robotics team at John Jay Science and Engineering Academy. Angelo State University is a public university in San Angelo, Texas, United States. It was founded in 1928 as San Angelo College. It gained university status and awarded its first baccalaureate degrees in 1967 and graduate degrees in 1969, the same year it took on its current name. It offers 50 undergraduate programs and 31 graduate programs.
