St Andrew Holborn Above the Bars with St George the Martyr (also known as St Andrew Holborn Above the Bars with St George the Martyr Queen Square) was a civil parish in the metropolitan area of London, that existed from 1767 to 1930. The four Inns of Court are all within the parish.

The boundary in the east approximated Farringdon Road and Farringdon Street. It included the entire lengths of the streets now called Saffron Hill, Hatton Garden and Ely Place. Ely Rents was a group of houses owned by the See of Ely. [2] The liberty had a workhouse from 1730 and was grouped into the Holborn Poor Law Union in 1836. [3]
The district was governed by the Holborn District Board of Works, which consisted of forty-nine elected vestrymen: twenty-four elected for the parish of St Andrew Holborn above Bars; nine for St George the Martyr; nine for Saffron Hill, Hatton Garden, Ely Rents, and Ely Place; six for St Sepulchre and one for Glasshouse Yard. St Giles, St George (patron saint of Bloomsbury) and St Andrew (patron saint of Holborn) were depicted on the borough seal. The several constituent parishes were illustrated in the arms granted to Holborn in 1906, while the supporters, the Lion and the Griffin are from the arms of Lincoln's Inn and Gray's Inn (Inns of Court).
