The 2024 World Junior Ice Hockey Championships (2024 WJHC) was the 48th edition of the Ice Hockey World Junior Championship, held from 26 December 2023 to 5 January 2024. This was the seventh time Sweden hosted the WJHC, and the first time the competition was held in Gothenburg .
The seedings for teams competing in the tournament were released on July 16, 2024. It was based on aggregated points from the best players in the BWF World Junior Ranking. The teams was divided into three pots, with China and Thailand were the two top seeds with another 6 teams, another 8 teams were put in the second groups.
