Bed of Stone is the third studio album by Nigerian-French recording artist Aṣa.It was released on 25 August 2014 through Naive Records. Recorded in the East-Sussex area in the UK, the album was co-written and produced by Blair MacKichan, a British producer that has already worked with Sia and Lily Allen.
A few hours before the album's release, "Slide" was issued as the lead single. A music video for the track "Fried" was also shared in August 2024. In November 2024, a video for "Bomb" was released, featuring a new rap verse from meme rapper Yuno Miles, which West had first premiered at a live show in August.

[1] On France 24, she recalled making an attempt to "live normal" during her hiatus. [2] In September 2019, Aṣa announced the album's title, cover art, and release date simultaneously. [3]
In 2004, Asa met her manager and friend, Janet Nwose, [6] who introduced her to Cobhams Asuquo, who in turn became the producer of her first studio album Asa (Asha). Aṣa returned to France at the age of 20 to study at the IMFP school of jazz music, where she was told by teachers that she should go ahead and become a recording artist because she was ready and needed no schooling.
