The Regional District of Kitimat–Stikine is a local government administration in northwestern British Columbia, Canada. [3] As of the 2021 Canadian census, it had a population of 37,790 living on a land area of 104,307.25 km 2 (40,273.25 sq mi). [2] Its administrative offices are in the city of Terrace.

As of the 2020 provincial election, Skeena comprises the southern portion of the Regional District of Kitimat-Stikine, with the exception of the southern tip of the region which is part of the North Coast electoral district. Bulkley Valley-Stikine is a provincial electoral district in British Columbia, Canada. The riding was known as Bulkley Valley-Stikine from its first creation in 1991 until the 2009 election. Following the Electoral Districts Act, 2008 , which came into effect upon the dissolution of the BC Legislature in April 2009, the riding was renamed Stikine .
