You can easily do this with the HAVSEN, IKEA’s quasi replacement sink for the DOMSJO, and leave your existing countertops as is. Just get a piece of stone or marble cut out in the dimension between the sink and the wall, and slot your faucet into that.

This sink that we have is actually a discontinued model called the “Domsjo”. There’s a new version now that’s very similar called “Havsen”. The new version is a little more modern and clean-lined, and doesn’t have the back apron part that my sink has, but it’s super similar.
We did an Ikea Kitchen a few years ago and put in a single bowl domsjo sink that has since been discontinued due to cracking - which of course we now have. Has anyone found a good replacement? I am still back and forth with IKEA to uphold their warranty but it will cost far more than that to replace sink.
