Because of the REA program, DMEA was incorporated in August 1938 and originally named Delta-Montrose Rural Power Lines Association. Electricity first flowed through Delta-Montrose Rural Power Lines Association's distribution system in May 1939, serving 250 members in the Pea Green area near Delta.

Report all power outages by calling DMEA directly at 877-687-3632, even if you think others have already reported it. If it is after normal business hours, a weekend, or holiday, your call will automatically transfer for DMEA’s 24-hour dispatch center.
Create Real Change. Operation Round Up is an easy and convenient way for DMEA members to make a real difference in their communities. Monthly electric bills of participating members are automatically rounded up to the nearest dollar, plus any additional amount they wish to designate.
