My original understanding is 10-yr/150k-mile for Prius, and 8-yr/100k-mile for Prius C. But later I remember reading a post on Prius Chat someone got his Prius-C traction battery replaced under the 10-yr/150k-mile warranty in California. #2 PriusII&C, Dec 27, 2022.
The hybrid battery in my 2007 Prius died yesterday. I live in battery-unfriendly Phoenix, and am just over the warranty period, at 107K miles. Looking at replacements, I've found that the warranty on a factory replacement is nothing like the factory standard 8 years or 100K miles... they only give a year.
I bought my 06 in CA and have the 10 year battery warranty. Since moving to AZ , I've always wondered... Would the 10 year warranty be honored in AZ?...

The Prius hybrid battery warranty increase information originally was identified in an email that went out to dealers in late December 2015. Admittedly, some dealers may have missed the email or inadvertently been left out of the mailing, so don’t be surprised if you find a dealer that is initially unaware of the Prius hybrid battery update.
