  2. I WOULD NEVER BUY A WRANGLER AS A PRIMARY

    www.jlwranglerforums.com/forum/threads/i-would-never-buy-a-wrangler-as-a...

Anyone that buys a Wrangler as a primary is nuts, anyone who needs a loan to buy a Wrangler is financially irresponsible. Speaking of which, anyone that finances a vehicle for more than four years is crazy. Regardless, a Wrangler is an expensive toy, nothing more.

  3. Best options for painting a bare metal bumper

    www.jlwranglerforums.com/forum/threads/best-options-for-painting-a-bare-metal...

I have been looking at options but hard to decide on which is best. The main three would be powder coating, rattle-can spray paint, and rattle can bed liner. I have heard powder coating may look the best but can be a bit tricky to touch up if/when it gets chipped as well as being the most expensive.

if you remove the layer of arrogance in the message OP only stated what most peoples thinks: 1. JL are way too expensive 2. Reliability can be dodgy 3. Most vehicle are a financial burden not a investment. Ya all in all we all own JL for the smile factor more than anything else.

  6. Anyone buy from Dave Smith? - JLwranglerforums.com

To get the exactly the Jeep I want, with just about every option but the smokers package, is already an expensive proposition. Options cost money, simple as that. And I look at buying the most expensive model (Rubicon) with almost every option as being similar to going out and buying a new Porsche 911.

  7. A former Salesman’s tips for buying a new Wrangler

    www.jlwranglerforums.com/forum/threads/a-former-salesman’s-tips-for-buying-a...

Margins from invoice to MSRP are pretty small so most aren’t trying to get rich off of new cars. The more they sell the more they get allocated to them. So buying a car for invoice or a little more is do-able most places. 7. When to buy. The best times to buy a car (for the best deal) is the last day or second to last day of the month.

  8. Available wheels that are actually appealing to look at?

    www.jlwranglerforums.com/forum/threads/available-wheels-that-are-actually...

I was in the same boat. I despise most off-road wheels on the market myself. I went with the Quadratec Baja Xtreme IIs. Available in silver, gunmetal and black. Were $170-180 apiece when I got mine. Have that old school "soft 8s" styling. Eventually, my CJ Renegade stripes will come in and I'll have my full retro build complete.

  9. Best Battery - Jeep Wrangler Forums (JL / JLU)

    www.jlwranglerforums.com/forum/threads/best-battery.72799

However if you are speaking of a more traditional use case aux battery, it is really hard to beat Lithium/LiFePO4. Actually you can't, currently. While an AGM or LA may quote the same AH, they 100% do not have the same usable energy as the equivalent sized lithium. Yes, lithium's are substantially more expensive.

  10. Milestar Patagonia X/T?? - JLwranglerforums.com

Anyone have experience with the Milestar Patagonia X/T? I’m tire shopping in either 285/75-17 or 315/70-17 size and these keep popping up in my search. Looking for some Jeep reviews. Thanks.

  11. 3W TPE All-Weather Floor Mats; REVIEW - JLwranglerforums.com

    www.jlwranglerforums.com/forum/threads/3w-tpe-all-weather-floor-mats-review.130967

Honestly up till now, for the most part water doesn't collect too much in my footwell area, and if it does, not a lot of it gets in the actual floor mat pans, but if a lot does build up in there, I've always just yanked them out and dumped all the water in the footwell area and let it drained on its own and then stuck the mat right back.
