Set the total depth using the layer buttin in Mach 3's .dxf import window. Once the g-code is created, use Mach3's Multipass option to cut the full depth in multiple shallow passes.

    Most any CAD program can be used to output the DXF files needed by the CAM programs available. LazyCAM Pro can be purchased from Artsoft, at the time you order your registration for Mach3 software. It is not the best CAM software out there, but it will allow you to begin to learn the process needed to go from Art to Part.
