Frederic Charles Willard (September 18, 1933 [a] – May 15, 2020) was an American actor and comedian. He is best known for his work with Christopher Guest in his mockumentary films This Is Spinal Tap (1984), Waiting for Guffman (1996), Best in Show (2000), A Mighty Wind (2003), For Your Consideration (2006), and Mascots (2016).
Keeslar appeared in Waiting for Guffman, The Last Days of Disco, [2] Scream 3, and the miniseries Frank Herbert's Dune and Stephen King's Rose Red. He starred in the 2008 ABC Family series The Middleman. He established a strong working relationship with South Coast Repertory in Costa Mesa, California, where he performed plays and staged readings.
