Marmion Academy (formerly Marmion Military Academy) is a grade 9–12 Roman Catholic high school for boys in Aurora, Illinois, United States. It is in the Roman Catholic Diocese of Rockford . The academy is owned and operated by the Benedictine monks of Marmion Abbey on campus.
For the first time in nearly a century, Marmion Academy is going coeducational.
It was established through consolidation of existing school districts on July 1, 1948. The area of the district is 140 square miles (360 km 2) and has all or portions of Maple Park, Aurora, Cortland, Elburn, Kaneville, Montgomery, North Aurora, Sugar Grove, and Virgil. [2]
