"Sailor's Grudge" is a Sailor Steve Costigan short story by Robert E. Howard. It was originally published in the March 1930 issue of Fight Stories. [1] A scene in the 1931 film Shipmates depicts a Chief petty officer reading the March 1930 Fight Stories. The story is now in the public domain. [2]
