Bảy Núi (Vietnamese: [ɓa᷉ːj nǔj], Chữ Nôm: 罷𡶀, seven mountains), also known by the Sino-Vietnamese version Thất Sơn (Vietnamese: [tʰə́k ʂəːŋ], Chữ Hán: 七山), is a range of small mountains located in the Tri Tôn and Tịnh Biên districts in Vietnam's An Giang Province, very close to the Cambodian border.

Tân Châu is a town (thị xã) of An Giang province in the Mekong Delta region of Vietnam. As of 2019 the town had a population of 141,211. [1] [2] The town covers an area of 175.68 km². It is famous for Tân Châu silk with the famous product Lãnh Mỹ A, whose black colour comes from the Diospyros mollis's fruit (Vietnamese: Mặc nưa).
On March 11, 1977, districts Văn Giang (North) and Yên Mỹ (South) have been merged to become Văn Yên rural district (文安縣, huyện Văn Yên). On February 24, 1979, Văn Yên was dissolved. 9 Văn Giang communes and 5 Yên Mỹ communes were merged into Khoái Châu to become Châu Giang rural district (州江縣, huyện Châu Giang).
An Giang first became a province in 1832, having been settled by the Vietnamese migrants moving southwards in search of new land. It is believed that An Giang was once an important center of the 1st millennium Óc Eo culture, presumably owing to its position on the river. Traditionally, An Giang has been known for its silk industry.
