Adventures in Odyssey (AIO), or simply Odyssey, is an Evangelical Christian radio drama and comedy series created and produced by Focus on the Family.Aimed at families with children age 12 and younger, the series first aired in 1987 as a 13-episode pilot called Family Portraits and has recorded 1000 episodes to date.

As host of Adventures in Odyssey for almost four decades, she is heard weekly on more than 2,000 radio stations worldwide. Aside from her work in radio drama, video games, animation, and TV/radio commercials, Anthony is also known for having voiced more than 100 Mattel talking Barbie games, toys, dolls, and button sound books, from 1994 to 2006.
In 1988, he was invited by Focus on the Family to help develop a radio show for kids, which later became Adventures in Odyssey. [2] He still consults on the show's scripts and writes them on occasion. He has also written 18 tie-in novels, including the "Passages" series.
