Insomniac (formerly Insomniac Events) is an American electronic music event promoter and music distributor. Founded by Pasquale Rotella, it is the organizer of various music festivals, including its flagship electronic music festival Electric Daisy Carnival (EDC) in Las Vegas.

EDC 2013: Under the Electric Sky is an American musical documentary film co-directed by Dan Cutforth and Jane Lipsitz. [1] [2] The film also features Pasquale Rotella, producer of the Electric Daisy Carnival. [3] The film had its world premiere at 2014 Sundance Film Festival on January 18, 2014. [4]
Electric Daisy Carnival moved to Las Vegas four years ago from the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum after the 2010 death of a 15-year-old attendee who was treated for drug intoxication.
