Pakistan International Airlines launched a new route between Multan and Riyadh, providing one weekly flight from April 21, 2016. Iran’s Taban Air began a seasonal service between Mashhad and Multan starting May 17, 2016. Air Indus ceased operations, ending its Multan-Karachi service as of June 2016.
