Corduroy is a Canadian animated children's television series based on Don Freeman's 1968 children's book Corduroy and its 1978 follow-up A Pocket for Corduroy. [1] It originally aired for one season on TVOKids in Canada and PBS Kids ' Bookworm Bunch in the U.S. in 2000.
An American Sign Language (ASL) version of A Pocket for Corduroy was released through Scholastic Corporation/Weston Woods in 2009. This version includes the original story, artwork, voice-over, music and read along captions. [5] The 2000 animated TV series Corduroy was based on A Pocket for Corduroy as well as its predecessor.
