The Stem Player is an audio remix device and music streaming platform developed by British technology company Kano Computing in collaboration with American artist Kanye West. The device was launched in August 2021 in conjunction with the release of his 10th studio album Donda .
Kano (Japanese: 鹿乃, born December 24) [1] is a Japanese musician and virtual YouTuber who is signed to Imperial Records. She began her artist activities as a doujin artist, uploading songs on the video-sharing website Nicovideo , before making her major debut in 2015 with the release of her single "Stella-rium".
Kano's debut single was the 1980 international hit "I'm Ready", combining elements of 1970s disco, funk and R&B while extensively using synthesizers and percussive handclaps as well as raw-processed and vocoderized vocals.
"More Than One Way" also premiered on Mista Jam's 1xtra radio show. The video was also released on Kano's official YouTube page. [11] The track was written for a campaign to promote the Diploma and was given away for free exclusively from The Diploma website. [3] The video features Kano and Giggs, but does not feature Wiley, due to his reputation of not showing up to music video shoots after a stabbing incident back in 2008. [4] Instead, Wiley's verse is cut from the video entirely.
