Ryuho develops a strong rivalry with Kazuma, the only Native Alter on Lost Ground to escape HOLY, continuously foiling their plans afterwards, and is one of the few people who's fought him one-on-one without being defeated instantly.
Kazuma then creates his own full-body Alter and easily defeats Mujo. Meanwhile, Ryuho also uses Zetsuei's armor form to defeat his nemesis and sends it back to the Other Side. Mujo returns in a monstrous form, but Kazuma ends him once and for all with his Proud Fist.

Issa Mihotoke (御仏 一茶, Mihotoke Issa), popularly known as Buccha (仏茶(ブッチャ)), has an extremely large body that he uses to his advantage in battle. Before he became part of Kogarasumaru, he is the leader of the team Night Kings (夜王, Yaou), which is defeated by Ikki. He appears to be obese, but his body is only ten percent fat.
Kazuma, Ayano and Ren encounter Lapis, who begins the summoning ritual of Belial, the Prince of Demons of the north of Hell. Lapis reveals she is attempting to become "human" through others' pain. Kazuma and Ayano attack Lapis, who retreats as Belial's summoning proceeds. By combining their powers, Kazuma, Ayano, and Ren manage to repel Belial.
