Amaram (transl. Stern) is a 1991 Indian Malayalam drama film directed by Bharathan and written by A. K. Lohithadas.It stars Mammootty, Maathu, K. P. A. C. Lalitha, Ashokan, Murali, Chitra, and Kuthiravattam Pappu in the main roles.
The soundtrack featured five songs composed by Dhibu Ninan Thomas and lyrics written by Manu Manjith, whereas Krithika Nelson, Krishna Kanth, Nagarjun Sharma and Vikram Edke, wrote lyrics for the Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Hindi versions, respectively. The album was released under the Think Music label on 26 September 2024.
The music was composed by M. K. Arjunan. The plot follows the life of a womaniser, Richard (Mohanlal), who along with his friends used to seduce, gang rape and kill girls. It was the last film of Kottarakkara Sreedharan Nair .
"Aaromale" (transl. O Beloved) is a song from the 2010 Tamil film Vinnaithaandi Varuvaayaa and Telugu film Ye Maaya Chesave composed by A. R. Rahman, [1] featuring lyrics by Kaithapram and the word Aaromale frequently used in the 2012 Hindi version of the song in the film Ekk Deewana Tha with lyrics by Javed Akhtar.
