The monthly event, called Bike Miami Days, is supposed to promote livable streets and community as well as cycling and walking. Minneapolis, Minnesota held its first Open Streets event in 2011, with the second in the following year. [29]
DecoBike was rolled out on March 15, 2011 with approximately 60 kiosks & 500 bikes throughout Miami Beach.
