Carleton H. Sheets (August 25, 1939 - January 25, 2020 [1]) was a prominent real estate investor and author who was notable for television infomercials which marketed real estate business learning materials. [2] Sheets appeared on numerous radio and television talk shows.
The limestone mill foundation and mile-long mill race are tangible evidence of Oxford Township's largest mill complex. Aaron Austin, builder of the house, and mill owned the property from 1815–1863. [2] Subsequently, the property was acquired by David M. Magie, one of Ohio's most prominent stock farmers and swine breeders.
This log cabin was built in 1805 by Zachariah Price Dewitt and Elizabeth Dewitt and is the oldest extant structure in the Oxford Township of Butler County, Ohio. It is the only remaining home of the several built by pioneers along the Four-Mile Creek, just east of what is now the Miami University campus.
