Great Hearts Academies is a non-profit network of public charter schools in the United States. Founded in 2003, the organization aims to provide a classical liberal arts education to students in grades K-12. As of the 2024–2025 school year, the network comprises 47 charter schools across Arizona, Texas, and Louisiana serving 30,000 students.
The district requires all students to wear school uniforms, except those attending Baton Rouge Magnet High School and Liberty Magnet High School. Broadmoor High School was founded in 1960 and resides on a 30-acre campus centrally located in the historic Broadmoor Neighborhood [2] of south Baton Rouge. BHS offers an array of traditional and honors level courses, including several AP courses and College Dual Enrollment opportunities with Baton Rouge area colleges (BRCC, SU, LSU) for eligible upperclassmen in good academic standing.
