Forsyth County (/ f ɔːr ˈ s aɪ θ / for-SYTHE or / ˈ f ɔːr s aɪ θ / FOR-sythe) is a county in the Northeast region of the U.S. state of Georgia. Suburban and exurban in character, Forsyth County lies within the Atlanta metropolitan area.
In 1921 the hospital purchased the former Levi B. Nelson home site at Boulevard and East Avenue (which was destroyed in the Great Atlanta fire of 1917), which is the present location east of downtown Atlanta. [7] The hospital moved from its former Luckie Street location to here late in 1921. [9]
Its source is located just north of the intersection of Georgia State Route 9 and Georgia State Route 20, in Forsyth County, about 1 mile (1.6 km) directly south of downtown Cumming. Vickery Creek is named after a Cherokee woman named Sharlot Vickery who lived in present-day Roswell and owned much of the land around the creek.

Forsyth Central High School is a public high school located in Cumming, Georgia, United States, northeast of Atlanta. Built in 1955, it was originally known as Forsyth County High School until 1989 when South Forsyth High School opened. It is one of eight high schools in the Forsyth County School District.
