Create a homemade glass cooktop cleaner using items found in your kitchen. This glass cleaning method removes those dried food stains that collect around the burners, leaving a clean and shining surface.
Instructions. Start by mixing 1 Tablespoon of dawn dish soap in a small bowl and 1 Tablespoon of hydrogen peroxide. Pour over your glass stove top and swirl around with a sponge. Sprinkle baking soda on top of the stove but not too much (I used about ⅛th-¼th cup) Swirl around with a brush or sponge then let sit for 4 minutes.
Process. Mix baking soda and soap together to make a paste, adding a few drops of water if needed. Apply a small amount to an old rag and work the area in circular motions. With a little bit of elbow grease, you should be able to get most, if not all, of the stuck on food off of the top.
