Richmond Hill is a city in Bryan County, Georgia, United States. The population was 16,633 at the 2020 U.S. census , an increase of almost 80% from the 2010 population of 9,281. [ 4 ] Richmond Hill is part of the Savannah metropolitan statistical area .
The Georgia Historical Commission continued to restore the fort to its 1863-64 appearance. The museum displays many artifacts. The fort was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1970. The fort site was combined with the adjacent Richmond Hill State Park to create the Fort McAllister State Historic Park.

State Route 88 (SR 88) is a 53.2-mile-long (85.6 km) state highway that travels southwest-to-northeast through portions of Washington, Jefferson, Burke, and Richmond counties in the east-central part of the U.S. state of Georgia. The highway connects the Sandersville area with Hephzibah, via Wrens, with a brief portion in Augusta.
