The Lovers is a science-fiction novella by American writer Philip José Farmer (1918–2009), first published in August 1952 in Startling Stories. In 1961, the work was expanded and published as a stand-alone softcover novel by Ballantine Books. In 1979, it was reissued by Ballantine as a Del Rey Classic in a final revised ("definitive") edition.

The Lovers (German - Liebespaar) or The Gotha Lovers (Gothaer Liebespaar) is a c.1480 oil on panel painting attributed to the Master of the Housebook (drawing hand Ib). [1] It is the first German large-format double portrait panel painting that does not depict a religious or liturgical scene.
In 2025, the works unbound from copyright cap off the 1920s with literature, characters and more from 1929 entering the public domain.
The title began publication as All Select Comics which ran 11 issues, cover-dated Fall 1943 to Fall 1945. The series was renamed Blonde Phantom Comics from issues #12–22 (1947 – March 1949), and revamped and changed titles and formats completely to become the anthological romance comic Lovers from #23-86 (May 1949 – Aug. 1957).
