Sentaro is a middle-aged man who runs a small dorayaki shop in the outskirts of Tokyo.The shop is frequented by locals and secondary-school pupils alike. When he puts up a notice saying that he is looking for a co-worker, he is approached by Tokue, a lady in her mid-seventies, who states that she has always wanted to work in a dorayaki shop.
The Doraemons (ザ☆ドラえもんズ, Za Doraemonzu) is a Japanese manga series that is a spin-off of the long-running Doraemon series. [1]The subseries includes two versions of the manga by Michiaki Tanaka (田中 道明, Tanaka Michiaki) and Yukihiro Mitani (三谷 幸広, Mitani Yukihiro) [2] from 1995 to 2003, as well as a series of animated short films from 1996 to 2002.
The new series features updated versions of the characters, different settings, and a new soundtrack. Although the anime is more faithful to the original manga and volumes, some changes were made. Many of the episodes that adapted chapters from the manga were extended to either have a better conclusion or a good moral to the story.
For the U.S. release, Volumes 1 and 6 contained 5 episodes each, volumes 2 through 5 each had 4 episodes, and the seventh and eighth volumes, titled Chapter 1 and 2, each had 13 episodes. The first compilation was released on August 26, 2008 [ 4 ] with the eighth compilation released on July 6, 2010.
