Giana Sisters: Twisted Dreams is a 2012 platform game developed and published by Black Forest Games for Microsoft Windows. It is the successor to the 1987 Commodore 64 title The Great Giana Sisters and sequel to the 2009 re-imagining Giana Sisters DS. While Wii Virtual Console titles cannot be played using the Wii U GamePad's controls, a September 2013 system update enabled the use of the GamePad's screen as a display. While some Wii games were also available for download from the Wii U eShop, these are not designated as Virtual Console releases and lack Virtual Console features.
The best-selling game on the Wii U is Mario Kart 8. First released in Japan on May 29, 2014, it went on to sell over 8.4 million units worldwide.
