The Lubao Institute is in front of the Diosdado Macapagal Museum and Library which is at the back of his Bahay Kubo birthplace. Some meters from these 2 landmarks is the San Nicolas Lubao residence of Gloria Macapagal Arroyo. Lubao Institute or LI is the first and oldest private school in Lubao established in 1929.
Born in Angeles City, Philippines, Santos played for Lubao Institute during his high school career and won the West Central Zone Championship. In 2000, he became well known during zonal competitions because of his hard work on the basketball court.
The LI basketball varsity team won the West Central Zone Championship against Guagua National Colleges (97–45 Final Score) and Provincial Championship for Lubao Institute. LI holds the best record in the basketball tournament Zonal (10–0) Provincial (10–0) . He also won the MVP of the league in the basketball event "In The Zone".
DHVSU main campus is located at Barangay Cabambangan, Municipality of Bacolor, Pampanga [8] and it has currently six satellite campuses located at Porac, Mexico, Santo Tomas, Lubao, Apalit and Candaba in the province of Pampanga. [9] [10] Its two satellite campuses, including Apalit and Candaba, have opened their classes in 2021. [11] [12]
