Corbett Hospital is a National Health Service (NHS) hospital run by the Dudley Group NHS Foundation Trust located in Amblecote, Stourbridge, West Midlands, England.The hospital is an out-patient centre which opened on 25 May 2007 in a ceremony conducted by Tony Blair as part of his farewell tour before resigning as prime minister.
It joined the National Health Service in 1948 and achieved NHS Trust status in 1994. [6] Following a major building programme, the Midlands Centre for Spinal Injuries re-opened in 2001. [ 2 ] The hospital was awarded NHS Foundation Trust status in August 2011.

The James Cook University Hospital, formerly known as the South Cleveland Hospital, is a public tertiary referral hospital and regional major trauma centre in Middlesbrough, North Yorkshire, England with 1,046 beds. [1] It forms part of the South Tees Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, along with the Friarage Hospital in Northallerton.
Thanks among others to the appointments in 1949, of Josep Trueta and in 1966, of Robert Duthie, the centre established its prestige and international reputation. Duthie championed its independence and on 1 April 1991 the Nuffield Orthopaedic Centre became an NHS Trust hospital. [4]
