Information on 4l80e Automatic Transmissions. Please be advised that I changed the "4L80E Transmission" wiki page as to what date this transmission was available as an option on C/K Pickups. I have a 1993 Chevy 4 x 4 with the 7.4L (454 Cu.In.) engine, a "2500 HD". The option sticker in the glove box shows option "MT1"...a 4L80E Transmission.
