The University of Wisconsin Colleges was a unit of the University of Wisconsin System composed of 13 local two-year campuses and one online campus. These campuses offered a liberal arts, transfer-parallel curriculum. The unit was established in 1971 and was dissolved on June 30, 2018.
The 40-acre (16.2 ha) campus is located on the south side of the city near Silver Creek Park and on the shore of Lake Michigan. It was opened in 1962. There were two major additions to the campus: Hillside Hall (renamed from West Hall) in 1986, and Lakeside Hall in 2001. The original building is now named Founders Hall.
