Humpty's Big Plate Diner is a family-style diner restaurant chain founded in Calgary in 1977. Originally an all-day-breakfast restaurant named Humpty's Egg Place, the restaurant began franchising outside the city in 1982 and changed its name and menu in 1988. The chain currently has 19 locations in Western Canada, 9 of which are in Alberta.
