Mount Yonaha (与那覇岳, Yonaha-dake), also known as Mount Yunaha (ユナハダキ, Yunaha-daki) in Okinawan, [1] is a mountain in Kunigami on the main island of Okinawa in Okinawa Prefecture. It has an elevation of 503 m (1,650 ft), but Yonaha-dake triangulation station is located at the next peak of elevation of 498 m (1,634 ft).
Camp Foster (Japanese: キャンプ・フォスター), formerly known as Camp Zukeran, is a United States Marine Corps camp located in Ginowan City with portions overlapping into Okinawa City, Chatan town and Kitanakagusuku village in the Japanese prefecture of Okinawa Island. It is part of the Marine Corps Base Camp Smedley D. Butler complex.

Kitanakagusuku (北中城村, Kitanakagusuku-son, Okinawan: キタナカグシク, romanized: Kitanakagushiku [1]) is a village located in Nakagami District, Okinawa Prefecture, Japan. As of 1 October 2020 [update] , the village has an estimated population of 17,969 and the density of 1,600 persons per km².
Fort Buckner is a United States Army base located immediately south of Camp Foster, near Futenma, on Okinawa, Japan.The 78th Signal Battalion and E Co. of the 53d Signal Battalion (SATCON) are the only units on this small installation.
The Squadron was organized on 7 July 1941, in Quantico, Virginia.Five months later, the Japanese struck Pearl Harbor.Shortly thereafter, the Squadron moved to NAS San Diego, California, in defense of the West Coast, which at the time was considered a potential Japanese target.
Ginoza became part of Okinawa Prefecture with its creation in 1879, and part of Kunigami District in 1896. In the administrative reorganization of Okinawa Prefecture in 1908 the Kinmu magiri was divided into two villages; the majority of the former magiri became Ginoza, and a small part was added to the present-day town of Kin.
