American Forces Travel. I purchased a ticket for a flight through American Forces Travel and then I had to cancel. I cancelled in October. I still haven't received my refund. Every time I call them they blame my bank or the airline. It's not my bank, it has been 2 months.
Fixed. Google's showing the "basic economy" fare, which doesn't include checked baggage or a seat assignment, and can't be changed or refunded. If you change the fare on Google to economy instead, the price goes to $268. Military gets a free checked bag on most airlines anyway, no matter what ticket you've got.
Seems like their best deals revolve around last second trips. AFVC (Armed Forces Vacation Club). Know about that one but haven't used it or joined, yet. We usually book through Agoda. Was booking a trip this summer. Prices for Armed Forces travel were the same or worse than Google flights and/or Kayak. Eventually ended up booking directly with the airline for the best deal.

But after 2 years of C-vid it’s like the whole world is vacationing and everything is insanely expensive!! AFVClub is offering pennies on the dollar for nice resorts that I’ve even double checked on Expedia. Are we going to show up to an all inclusive resort expecting to pay $400 a night and end up paying $2000 a night?!

I went ahead and made an account and was shocked at some of the deals available. Some places are going for $400 for a 7 night stay, and looking up the hotel it seems really nice.
