  2. What’s everyone’s experience with American Forces Travel?

    www.reddit.com/.../12ndqgq/whats_everyones_experience_with_american_forces

The VA and the DOD both represent this fraudulent website. I did a regular search on Priceline along with the same exact search through American forces travel, $4 difference on a $1000 trip. They ought to be ashamed of themselves for advertising this garbage as if it's exclusive discounted rates for Veterans. Just another website preying on ...

Anyone have experience with MWR American Forces Travel? I am starting to plan out leave for next year and discovered that Army MWR has partnered with Priceline to create American Forces Travel for booking travel and event tickets. Does anyone have any experience using the service or has anyone done some serious price comparison to other travel ...

American Forces Travel. I purchased a ticket for a flight through American Forces Travel and then I had to cancel. I cancelled in October. I still haven't received my refund. Every time I call them they blame my bank or the airline. It's not my bank, it has been 2 months.

  5. Thanks American Forces Travel! : r/AirForce - Reddit

Fixed. Google's showing the "basic economy" fare, which doesn't include checked baggage or a seat assignment, and can't be changed or refunded. If you change the fare on Google to economy instead, the price goes to $268. Military gets a free checked bag on most airlines anyway, no matter what ticket you've got.

Seems like their best deals revolve around last second trips. I get a shit ton of emails about Hawaii for $349, basically gotta have bags packed standing in the ticket line in San Francisco airport to get the deal though. I just got an ad for Armed Forces Travel from Military Star Card. Seems like it's official MWR, but it'll also "Supported by ...

  7. Is Armed Forces Travel legitimate? : r/army - Reddit

    www.reddit.com/r/army/comments/1cap9mx/is_armed_forces_travel_legitimate

Is Armed Forces Travel legitimate? Don't have much experience in this, so any advice is appreciated. We are thinking of going to Bora Bora, and I though to check Armed Forces Travel against other sites (including the direct hotel sites). For some of the high end resorts, using AFT would save us literally $1000 on our stay which seems like a ...

  8. Does anyone pay for and use armed forces travel? Is it worth it?

AFVC (Armed Forces Vacation Club). Know about that one but haven't used it or joined, yet. We usually book through Agoda. Was booking a trip this summer. Prices for Armed Forces travel were the same or worse than Google flights and/or Kayak. Eventually ended up booking directly with the airline for the best deal.

  10. AFV Club are we getting scammed? : r/army - Reddit

    www.reddit.com/r/army/comments/tvqa02/afv_club_are_we_getting_scammed

But after 2 years of C-vid it’s like the whole world is vacationing and everything is insanely expensive!! AFVClub is offering pennies on the dollar for nice resorts that I’ve even double checked on Expedia. Are we going to show up to an all inclusive resort expecting to pay $400 a night and end up paying $2000 a night?!

  11. Armed Forces Vacation Club - Legit or not? : r/Veterans - Reddit

Beasterday62. Armed Forces Vacation Club - Legit or not? Question/Advice. I recently learned about the Armed Forces Vacation Club. I went ahead and made an account and was shocked at some of the deals available. Some places are going for $400 for a 7 night stay, and looking up the hotel it seems really nice.
