So You Think You Can Dance is a dance reality show and competition aired on 8TV. Based closely on the original U.S. show by the same name, the series premiered on April 5, 2007. The show was created by Simon Fuller (known for the Idol series) and Nigel Lythgoe.

The open auditions for the third season will take place in key cities in Asia. Open auditions will be held in Thailand, Singapore, Philippines, Vietnam, Indonesia, and Malaysia. The open auditions will be judged by Asia's Got Talent producers. Auditionees are also allowed to submit their audition videos online via the show's official website.
