Purpose. This template was created to eliminate the need for editors to have extensive HTML or Wikitable editing skills when generating football depth chart displays. Setting several parameters and inputting player data are all that is necessary to provide displays that were previously very time consuming to create.
Football line-up. This template is an alternative to { { fbml }} and is usually used alongside { { football box }}. As the latter gives out information such as date and time, score, goalscorers, ground/stadium, attendance and referee, this template does not give those.
