"All Eyez on Me" is a song by American rapper 2Pac from his fourth studio album of the same name (1996). It features American rapper Big Syke . Produced by Johnny "J" , the song contains a sample of "Never Gonna Stop" by Linda Clifford .
2Pac wrote the lyrics to the song while in prison for sexual abuse charges in 1995. [1] After being released from prison, he recorded the song at Can-Am Studios in Tarzana, Los Angeles on October 13, 1995. [2] [3] In a 2015 interview with XXL, Kurupt stated that 2Pac recorded the first verse in 45 minutes.
The original was released as a double-A side single together with "How Do U Want It" and intended for the Dr. Dre album The Chronic II, while the remix was included on 2Pac's All Eyez on Me. The song was made and written in Dr. Dre's in house studio, 2Pac came in and wrote his verse straight away; it took him just 15 minutes to write his verse.
