I scored a $40 never used floor last summer at a swap meet that the guy told me was “a 32 ford pickup floor”…. Great score- those pickup floors sure work nice in a roadster/5W! I wanted a factory style look, so I cleaned up the edges, trimmed it to fit, and then used Model A floor rivets and a waffle style bucking bar to complete the task.
How could any list not have the nicest 1932 Ford Roadster built by Jack Stewart? It is an iconic red 32 roadster and many have seen it all over So Cal when it was active. Photographs did make it look great, but the actual roadster itself, as noted by my invitation to ride along with Jack Stewart, solidified my knowledge of a well built roadster.
On the other hand, the 1932 Ford was the first year Ford offered a V-8 engine, even though the 4 cylinder engine was carried over. As has already been stated, there are considerable changes in proportions, and in the design. There are, in my opinion, more nuances, subtle though they are, that give it a pleasant appearance.

Hey guys, long-time lurker, new member. I recently acquired a 1932 Ford Roadster, glass Bodied. I'm in the process of making some changes to make it my own, and one big thing that has bothered me,is the tires and wheels. It doesn't feel like it has the right stance, I feel like the rear tires are way too small.
I don’t know what thread the screws were that Ford used but they may have been 12-24’s. Repro suppliers might sell either 12-24 or 1/4-28’s. Once the female is fitted provided the body has been shimmed close the door and mark where the male dovetail will line up, put it in place and center punch and drill and tap.
