Tropical Storm: Intensity (MFR): ... I learned this from a Weather Channel documentry about the 1995 ...
The Weather Company (the patent company to The Weather Channel) bought them and is essentially changing everything. WU used to be the best app out there for weather and since IBM/The Weather Company has purchased it, lots have changed for the worse. Features stripped, slow lost times, nothing about the app in general working sometimes.
Comprised a list of these links to check out beachfront-ish personal weather stations reporting to Weather Underground, which are in Michael's path and report wind. Keep in mind these stations may experience interruptions in reporting due to weather conditions & connectivity.
Additionally, there are a ton of interesting stuff on Storm2K, including the respective discussions about intense tropical cyclones, and about whether this Atlantic season will use Greek names for second time since 2005 or not.
I've used weather underground for years, and have always liked it, but for the last few years I've found the quality of the app to be degrading to the point of bein nearly unusable.
